Aurukun Training for Empowerment and Work Skills, a joint venture between Ngan Aak-Kunch Aboriginal Corporation and Asuria, is pleased to announce its successful tender through the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) for the Remote Australia Employment Services (RAES). 

Our services will be delivered in Aurukun and will commence on November 3rd, 2025, and the RAES program will replace the Community Development Program. 

This new RAES program will require all participants to attend an initial appointment to commence in the new RAES program and any requirements, such as Mutual Obligations and Participation Requirements, will be explained during each participant's first RAES appointment. 

Once the RAES program commences, Aurukun Training for Empowerment & Work Skills will begin contacting participants to arrange their initial appointments under the new program. Notifications will be sent via letter, phone call, email, and/or SMS throughout November and December and into 2026.
